Ruth Z. Deming shares “What a Long Strange Trip it’s Been”

Ruth Z. Deming, a psychotherapist in private practice, founded New Directions Support Group of Abington, PA, in 1986, after she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She writes a poem a day on Facebook and enjoys writing fiction and creative nonfiction. She lives in Willow Grove, PA, right next door to her boyfriend, Scott. They share a love of movies, long walks in nature parks, and talking about politics.
