Russ Melgar is a California native, born in San Diego and spent most of his growing up in the Bay Area. Russ has been involved in sports and fitness since high school. Although he made a career in television news production after college, he always spent time in the gym or karate dojo because of the positive vibes he felt there. Eventually Fitness became his career.
