Originally from western Montana, Mary migrated from Missoula to Boise after completing her undergraduate degree. Growing up her whole life never feeling good enough or worthy of life, depression and anxiety entered into her life early on. Throughout her life situational depression and extreme anxiety continued to introduce themselves. Through music, writing, fellowship and her Christian faith, mental illness has found fewer avenues to enter into Mary’s life. She really hopes sharing her story and love of spoken word helps bring light that can be found in the dark spaces of depression.
