Leah Farchmin reads “Bucket List”

Leah is a transplant from Minneapolis/St. Paul who has called the DC Metro area home for the past five years.  She is passionate about understanding trauma and its lasting effects.  She spends her days supporting survivors of sexual assault and training folks across the region on what they can do to prevent suicide.  She is a firm believer in opening up awkward and uncomfortable conversations to help diminish the stigma that prevents so many from reaching out. Leah is excited to be part of This Is My Brave to be able to share a piece of her own story with the hope that it might help someone else save their own life.
