Jhas Williams-Wood shares “Figuratively Speaking”

Jhas Williams-Wood is a full-time morning show radio personality for Eagle 97.7’s “Petch and Jhas” on Eagle in the Morning. She has written for Delaware’s online newspaper Milford Live, The National Association of Black Journalists and the Huffington Post. She sings, acts and spends time volunteering, and cuddling with her two year old Jack Russell ‘Fancy.’ Jhas tries to find ways to inspire others with her own story of coming to terms with her bipolar disorder. More than anything, she’d rather the world know that she is not a victim- and not just a survivor- but a THRIVER.

Jhas shares her story in the This Is My Brave Philadelphia 2018 show.

This Is My Brave Philadelphia 2018

"I can quite literally be as successful, and contempt, and as happy as I want to be and there is nothing figurative about that."
