Jacquelyn Davis shares “The Bases of Recovery”

Jacquelyn Davis is a photographer and fashion designer from Birmingham, Alabama, living with schizo-affective disorder. A chance encounter with a veteran photographer skyrocketed her self-esteem so much that she wanted the same for those struggling with disabilities. Founded in late 2019, Safe Place Art is now turning Disabilities into Creative Photography. She also focuses on SPD sensitive shoots, general portraits, and general fashion photography. Jacquelyn’s goal is to cultivate the same experience that gave her the confidence to try new things and use pictures to help others ‘Reimagine Imperfect’.
