Cecy Torres is a motivated student and worker. She was born and raised in Fairfield, CA. Her life consists of family, friends, my career, pugs, and a lot of coffee! She currently works as a youth advocate at Voices Youth Center in Napa. At Voices she works with youth ages 14-24 assisting them with resources and skills necessary to be successful no matter what. She also takes part in other programs such as AVP (Alternatives to Violence Project) that go out to prisons to work with inmates. Growing up, Cecy had no idea what career she wanted to pursue, all she really knew was that she wanted to help others, and today she feels blessed to be doing just that.
Cecy Torres shares her story of depression and bullying
"I know that there is often a stigma around depression, but please don't be afraid or discouraged to seek professional help if needed."
