Brandon Staglin addresses schizophrenia with his original song. He is director of marketing and communications for Staglin Family Vineyard and One Mind Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors of One Mind and One Mind Institute. In addition to being a webcast producer, blogger, and public speaker, he also serves on advisory councils for Stanford University’s Prodrome and Early Psychosis Program Network and the Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America, and is a Stability Leader in The Stability Network. Brandon’s experience with recovery from schizophrenia makes him grateful to be living in health and happy every day he can contribute to the health of others. Now, he is thrilled to unite his passion for advocacy with his fascination with the guitar to share his story through song.
Brandon Staglin sings “Horizons Left to Chase”
"I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the summer of 1990 when I was 18….The next years that followed were very dark times…I thought there would be no future left for me worth living. I nearly took my own life. How much I would have missed!"
