Amber is a single mother to three grown children. Her mother was originally diagnosed as manic depressive in the late 70’s, one of her twin girls was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder when she was 13, and she constantly fights her own battle with depression and anxiety. So she’s been a part of the mental health community in one way or another for as long as she can remember. She is very grateful to be a part of This is My Brave.
Amber Brown addresses hoarding disorder
“My kids survived…I got them out alive. Not unscathed, but alive. Anxious but strong. They have tools in their belts to get them through almost anything. They know how to survive and they know how to do it with a sense of humor, these kids!”
