This Is My Brave National Teen Show features ten young people from across the U.S. – Jada, Abi, Aarna, MaDarrius, Daijah, Anastasia, Elder, Ryver, Joe, and Savanna – who will share their stories of living with mental illness and / or addiction. Through original music, dance, essay, and poetry, our Brave teens use the performing arts to create hope for themselves, their peers, and society as a whole. Teens today need to know that it is okay to not be okay – and there are teens just like them that have overcome similar circumstances. Prepare to be inspired as their stories breakdown the stigma surrounding mental illness and open up life saving conversations for themselves and audience members alike.
