We're proud to bring "This Is My Brave - The Show" to JACKSONVILLE on May 20th, 2017 at Friday Musicale in Riverside. This is My Brave is a live storytelling event where real people tell real stories about their real life mental health issues. Billed as #StorytellingSavesLives, This is My Brave seeks to remove the stigma of mental illness, open a dialog, and create opportunities for people to thoughtfully engage around the topic of mental health.

Click the button below to reserve your audition slot, then get to work preparing your piece!

Auditions will be held at the San Marco Library (Study Room) (Address: 1513 Lasalle St, Jacksonville) on February 11th from 1-4pm. You must have an audition reservation to attend.

Individuals who have struggled with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, suicide attempts, autism spectrum, schizophrenia, and others are encouraged to craft an artistic piece and tell their story in essay, poetry, original music or comedy. Caregivers are also encouraged to tell their side of the story. Mental health knows no bounds of age and neither does this event. All ages are welcome to express their story. Due to the nature of some stories, the show often carries a PG rating.
