Brave Alumni Author Chat
Within our Brave family, many of our alumni storytellers are also published authors!
We know that reading and writing are powerful tools for recovery and for processing life in general. Our Wednesday #BraveDays series will feature candid conversations between Brave Alumni discussing their work, the writing process, and their journeys with This Is My Brave. Save your spot, and join us at 2pm ET | 1pm CT | 11am PT each week!
Information about today’s participating authors can be found below.
Wednesday May 5th will feature the following alumni authors:
- Ingrid Morgan (Stories from the Black Community Vol. 2 Alum) – Author of 1974: A Survivor’s Story
- Kathleen Frazier (NYC 2015 Alum) – Author of Sleepwalker: The Mysterious Makings and Recovery of a Somnambulist
- Johnnie Calloway (Orlando 2019 Alum) – Author of Dragons to Butterflies: The Metamorphosis of a Man

Crowdcast is a new, virtual streaming platform that This Is My Brave is now using for most of our virtual events! It is free to create an account, and you can see all of our events listed in one place. Don’t worry about the note that says “Grab your free trial.” No credit card information is required to sign on as an event attendee. Crowdcast also allows us to record, save, and replay all livestreams, so you can always go back and watch an event if you want a refresher!
