This Is My Brave – College Edition, a OneUSF Production is coming to the stage on April 22, 2022! We are looking for student storytellers who live bravely through mental health challenges or addiction to tell their story of recovery on the stage using the performing arts.

This Is My Brave is a show about what it’s like to live through mental illness and substance use disorder and come out on the other side. The emotions from having experienced such challenges first-hand are raw, excruciating, thrilling, inspiring and so much more.

Do you have a story to share? Craft your piece using poetry, original music, dance, personal essay or even a comedy set. (Yes, experiencing mental illness can be funny!) Each piece must not exceed 5 minutes in length. Think of it as a “snippet” of your life, rather than your entire life story.

Auditions will take place Jan 20 – 22. Be sure to register for your audition spot in advance!
