Mr. Orlov is a real estate professional with more than 10 years of experience working in the greater Boston area. However, his true passion is advocating on behalf of individuals and families who have been affected by mental illness. As someone who lives with bipolar disorder, as well as the experience of suffering a traumatic brain injury, Mr. Orlov deeply understands the challenges faced by those with psychiatric disorders. He has dedicated himself to working with national and global organizations, including McLean Hospital, the largest psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School, and All of Us Research, to advance the understanding of psychiatric disorders and support the research that will one day allow us to identify causes and better treatments for these illnesses.
Mr. Orlov is an active member of the McLean Hospital community, serving on its Board of Visitors, as a member of its Patient and Family Advisory Council, and on the Scientific Advisory Board for McLean’s Behavioral Health Partial Hospital Program. He has facilitated wellness groups in Depressive Bipolar Support Alliance. He is also a certified peer specialist recognized in the State of Massachusetts.
He received a BA in economics and classical history from Tufts University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business. Mr. Orlov is interested in how robust data collection can help individuals manage their health conditions.
