Tell us about yourself :
My name's Raj. I'm an Indian comedian. I moved to the US about 9 years back to go to college and I've stayed since then. I'm almost thirty but I don't look it.
I look 35.
How has mental illness affected your life?
It gave me a #2 album on the iTunes comedy charts.
It also gave me a real reason to connect with people and a reason to strive for happiness.
Why join TIMB?
I wanted to attempt to articulate the nuances of depression and anxiety. The ability to speak in public is something I enjoy, but it also carries duty with it.
If you're good at talking, do it. Besides, all my friends are tired of hearing me talk, so you guys will be subjected to me for 6-8 minutes instead.
What inspires you to stay healthy?
It sucks when I'm unhealthy.
What do you hope the audience takes away?
A connection with me, a new friend, a new perspective and a copy of my album and tickets to my next thirty.
