Rebecca Powell- Rebecca is a 27-year-old college student, studying Psychology and Creative Writing, and working hard to complete her senior year of studies at UNH Manchester. Eager to pursue a career in Clinical Art and Expressive Therapy, she yearns to take her fifteen-year struggle with anorexia and recurrent, treatment-resistant, Major Depressive Disorder and use it to become someone because of the experience, not in spite of it. With a journal by her side through years of extensive treatment, pen and paper became a best friend that evolved into a passion for creative expression. Becca is grateful to TIMB for the chance to push herself to speak up and humbled to be sharing the stage with such brave, creative souls.
