Fall 2020 {Virtual Shows}

Mental Health Storytelling in the age of COVID!

2020 is a year that none of us will soon forget! COVID-19 darkened theaters throughout the country. As a result, This Is My Brave could not hold any of its mental health storytelling events in any of our 5 US cities. By late spring we realized we would not be able to perform on stage at all in 2020. Yet, we could not imagine delaying much longer — the storytellers we had lined up were too good! Because of this, we rebranded and delivered in October 2020 our covid-friendly mental health storytelling event, This Is My Brave: Stories from Home. Our main concern throughout production was the safety of all. Therefore, to protect our storytellers, audience members and staff, each edition of This Is My Brave: Stories from Home 2020 was filmed at home by our Brave storytellers (with the exception of New Hampshire, see their caption for more details).

We are grateful to the casts in 5 US cities who waited patiently while we worked to give them the spotlight that they so deserve! Go to 2020 Stories from Home Cast Interviews on our YouTube page to meet each of our remarkable storytellers and find out what brought them to This Is My Brave.
