I’ve been in and out of therapy since 2005. Been medicated about that long, too. But if I had to pinpoint where my mental health journey became my own, I would easily say May 19, 2016, the night I presented my story with This Is My Brave. Baring my soul and my journey to a live audience launched me as a mental health advocate and motivated me to encourage others to share their own story. Everyone has a story that deserves to be heard.
