Elizabeth Tate reads her piece “I’m OK”

Liz Tate is a 25 year old who loves musicals and went to school for performing arts at Westchester Community college where she directed and choreographed for different shows for the glee club. Her home is the stage! During her past severe depressive episodes she found herself hospitalized many times, going through many different medications. As a result, she realized her passion for helping others with different illnesses. Liz has come a long way with treatment and is healthy and getting married in May to her soul mate Andrew who is her rock and number one support! She wants to disclose that she is not cured but fighting every day through the illnesses. “Trying not to give into that (illness) is a huge battle but I am a warrior.” She’d love to thank Tanya for showing her This is My Brave and for helping her find her way!
