Indigo Liz Logan shares her story about DID

Indigo Liz Logan grew up in a loving family, but something has always been wrong. At 12, she was diagnosed with depression, at 35 with manic depression (bi-polar depression). Then came the labels of borderline personality disorder, general anxiety disorder, posttraumatic stress syndrome, attention deficit disorder, and then finally, at 47, dissociative identity disorder. The way to protect ourselves from this extreme form of stigmatization is to speak out, share our stories,
share our knowledge, and let people know about the existence of the trauma that causes DID in the first place. Indigo appreciates the opportunity that This Is My Brave offers her to begin this conversation.

Indigo shares her story in the This Is My Brave Napa Valley 2017 show.

"We have been violated in one way or another and left to hold the shame, but it is not our shame."
