Daisy Zamora shares her story “Un Dia a La Vez”

Daisy Zamora is a senior at Napa High School and is a member of the Teens Connect Teen Council. As an advocate for mental health, Daisy hopes to break the stigma in her peer community. She is a peer support counselor at her high school and loves working with younger teens. Daisy enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys baking and is always looking for new recipes and techniques. Daisy’s mental health journey is ongoing, and although it doesn’t always feel okay, she has learned the importance of staying grounded and reaching out for support when needed.

Daisy performed her personal essay in the This Is My Brave Napa Valley show which was presented by Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center as part of the Emergence Festival.

This Is My Brave Napa Valley 2020
